A massive thanks to our 2007 entrants for your continued support of Home Brewed. We continue to be amazed at the quality, volume and diversity of entries received by the Festival each year.

The ability to jointly enter our sister festival SNOWYfest (running in Thredbo from 13-17 June 2007) remains available for a discounted entry fee.

Shortlisting for Home Brewed will begin in earnest soon, and you can expect to hear the results of the shortlisting (yes, you will definitely hear from us whether or not your film is selected) in early May. May will also start to see the announcements of Home Brewed judges, screening venues and the like. For those who have jointly entered SNOWYfest, some details of the judging panel for that festival are below.

2007 OSCAR NOMINATIONS

While ultimately missing out on the little golden man, our congratulations go out to Australia's Peter Templeman and Stuart Parkyn who were Oscar Nominated for their film The Saviour, which was a joint winner of Home Brewed's 10-30 Minute Short Film Category in 2005. Congratulations also to fellow Oscar Nominees Javier Fesser, Luis Manso and Manuel García, the team behind Binta & The Great Idea, a 2006 Home Brewed finalist & winner of Best Short Film in our 2006 sister festival SNOWYfest.
